Exerzio Run does not send the following to Exerzio servers:
Plans, matches, preferences, reminders, achievements, and app progress are stored locally in Exerzio Run. The app has protected local storage and does not automatically upload this data.
Exerzio Run can read Apple Health workouts, running distance and duration, routes when available, active energy, heart rate, and supported running metrics after you grant permission.
No account is needed to use Exerzio Run. The app does not include advertising, automatic workout uploads, or a third-party analytics SDK.
Optional diagnostics are local, redacted performance and outcome information. They are not sent automatically. A diagnostics report is shared only when you choose to export it.
Exerzio Run shares a limited local app-state snapshot with its widgets through Apple's App Group mechanism. It can include today's planned session, upcoming plan days, progress, goal or race countdown information, and a link back to the app. Widgets do not query Apple Health and do not contain Health samples or routes.
While you are recording a run on iPhone, an optional Live Activity may show limited run progress such as elapsed time, distance, pace, splits, effort guidance, and the current structured-workout step. It does not show or share your route.
Reminders are optional local notifications controlled by iOS permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Exerzio does not receive your payment card details. StoreKit provides the app with purchase and entitlement status so it can enable Pro features. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account and Apple's subscription settings. Exerzio Run has no account system.
Sharing is explicit. A route card or training recap is exported only after you choose the share action. Route shares hide the first and last 250 metres by default. If you choose to save an exported image to Photos, the app requests Apple's add-only Photos permission and writes only the image you selected. Local plan backup is also an explicit export; it is not an automatic cloud backup.
Apple Health is a separate Apple service with its own permissions and privacy terms. If you choose to share a generated card, diagnostic report, or backup, your device's native share sheet passes it to the destination you select. Exerzio does not receive that shared content.
App-local plans, preferences, reminders, achievements, progress, and local diagnostics remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall Exerzio Run. Uninstalling removes Exerzio Run's local app data, but it does not remove workouts or routes that have already been saved in Apple Health. Apple Health data is managed separately by Apple and by you in the Health app.
Health, Location, Photos, Calendar, and Notification permissions can be reviewed or changed in iOS Settings. Exerzio Run has no account to delete.
Exerzio Run is not directed to children. Because no account is needed and the app does not collect personal information on Exerzio servers, we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
