Common checks
- Apple Health access: Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps and Services → Exerzio to review access. Exerzio reads permitted health data and writes back the workouts and logs recorded in the app.
- Location: Exerzio needs Location access to show your position on the map and to record a workout's route. The background mode is what keeps a recording alive with the screen off.
- The map looks incomplete or is still filling in: Route tiles are rendered on the device and build progressively after a workout is saved. There is a diagnostics section in the map's advanced settings that shows the pipeline working.
- Duplicate workouts: If two devices wrote the same workout to Apple Health, Exerzio leaves the duplicate out of totals, charts and share cards. Nothing is deleted from Apple Health.
- Dreeve: Dreeve requires a self-hosted Dreeve server (v5.3.0 or later). Remote servers must use HTTPS. A server on your local network is reached over HTTP and needs the iOS Local Network permission; if that permission was denied, re-enable it in iPhone Settings.
- No account, no purchases: Exerzio has no account and this version sells nothing. There is nothing to restore or manage.
Please do not send Apple Health exports or other health information unless it is relevant to your request and you choose to share it.
